"It's Our World" The Keystone Resident's Self Advocacy Organization
Keystone residents live active lives in their communities, at work and with their friends and family. "It's Our World" was formed by a group of Keystone residents, with assistance of a staff moderator to explore issues of importance to people living everyday lives with an intellectual or developmental disability. Including:
- Landlord/Tenant relations
- Relations with supervisors and co-workers
- Opportunities for service to the community
- Handling finances
- Voting and politics
The group is open to all Keystone residents and meets on a regular basis. For more information, contact Don Barney, Director of Information and Public Affairs at 570-702-8046 or dbarney@keycommres.com.
